Overall I’m very pleased with the ProGrade reader so far.
believe this is simply a matter of the 10 Gbps USB channel being renamed by the USB Implementers Forum from 3.1 Gen 2 to 3.2 Gen 2, and it was probably too expensive to repackage existing inventory to reflect a different name for the same thing, especially when the packaging is so obviously first-class. I thought I had been sent the wrong device until I did a little research. The only complaint I have is pretty minor - the online description of the unit says that it has has USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, but the packaging says it’s a USB 3.1 Gen 2 device.
menus, mic input, headphone connection and SD card reader. I have not tried the included adhesive-backed ferrous mounting plate with my aluminum case laptop, but it works exactly as desired with the desktop case. All in one HD capture and playback in a compact 1/3rd rack width design. Lexar Recovery Tool for Mac, Nov 2020, download. I have the reader stuck to the top of a full tower case desktop computer, and can easily insert & remove cards without dislodging the reader. Our award-winning lineup includes memory cards, USB flash drives, readers. The rubberized magnetic base works beautifully. This is something less worthy readers rarely do, and I have many dead readers due to bent pins from shallow CF wells. The compact flash well is deep enough that there is little (or no) worry of bending the pins in the reader. I have not used the ProGrade Digital Compact Flash and SD UHS-II dual slot card reader for more than doing some tests, but so far it has been impressive.
